Sad demise of Dr. Nisar Shah, president Pakistan Peace and solidarity Council

Let me share with great sarrow that Dr. Nisar Ali Shah, the President of Pakistan Peace and solidarity Council passed away in Karachi Pakistan yesterday due to covid. He was hospitalized due to sever infection, but couldn't survive.
He was born in 1956 in Noshero Feroz Sind. Dr. Nisar Shah belonged to a progressive political family and was involved in the struggle of the poor and deprived segments of the society. Dr. Nisar Shah after receiving medical education joined Government of Sindh as Medical Officer and served mostly as medicolegal officer in Abassi Shaheed and Civil Hospital Karachi. He also lead the struggle of doctors and health sector employees from the platform of Pakistan Medical Association- PMA.
He was the founding president of Pakistan Peace and solidarity Council. He organized the council and implemented various plans to strengthen the peace council in various parts of the country.
Dr. Nisar Shah was a writer also and published his articles in newspapers and magazines. He was active in political activities and was active part of every progressive and rights movement. Dr. Nisar Shah left a widow, 5 sons, 3 daughters and the whole progressive and peace movement in mourning and grief.
